Termination
- Termination Process
The termination process requires either a written or verbal notice. This notice depends on the length of time the employee has been employed. More than three years of service will entitle the employee to a minimum of three months notice.
Any length of time less than this will entitle the employee to be notified at least one pay interval in advance.

Employees must give at least 30 days notice when handing in their notice.
- Severance Pay
Severance pay in Mauritius depends on the length of service an employee has undergone.
- Probation Period
The probationary period generally lasts between three and six months.
