Following an incredible performance over the weekend, Immedis’ brand ambassador, Shane Lowry joins the greatest names in golf history as the winner of the 148th Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
The 32-year-old Offaly native played in treacherous weather conditions surrounded by 237,750 boisterous spectators and was unstoppable as he led by six strokes, finishing the links course 15 under par with a total of 269 shots.
Although Lowry admits he started nervously, he confidently powered through the entire weekend and remained at the top of the leader board as fans watched in anticipation from around the world.
Immedis first announced its strategic partnership with Shane Lowry in July 2017, initially appearing on Lowry’s left sleeve. Today, the Immedis logo stands proudly on his right breast. Shane’s commitment and passion for golf is aligned with Immedis’ dedication to client success and service excellence, and we look forward to continuing our support of Shane on his journey to greatness.
Speaking on the win was CEO of Immedis, Ruairi Kelleher:
“There was great excitement and energy from our team over the weekend as we all watched Shane from locations around the world. We are proud to support our brand ambassador in his journey to greatness, and we take great honour in learning from him that the drive to succeed combined with absolute dedication will always bring you to victory.”
