Ruairi Kelleher is CEO of Immedis and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He joined the wider Taxback Group in 2012 and was an integral part of the re-positioning and launch of Immedis in 2016.

Ruairi is responsible for the corporate direction, strategy and M&A activity at Immedis, enabling the senior leadership team to drive innovation in international payroll and tax services through our cloud-based solution, iConnect. Since joining the company, Ruairi has worked to share the strategy and vision with employees, clients, partners and the wider global payroll industry to promote a new vision of global payroll consolidation through global tax expertise and integrated agile technologies.

Terry is the founder of The Taxback Group. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin, Terry formulated the Taxback.com business concept while working as a student in Germany. He has been the innovator and driver of the group to its present global market leader position with over 1,200 employees in 33 countries worldwide

He is a former winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the HSBC European Entrepreneur Award.

Terry attributes success to his team of highly skilled, committed staff, building lasting partnerships and a constant focus on developing new services.

Having joined The Taxback Group in 2012, Mark spent a large amount of time in the US alongside C-Level executives where he identified strategic solutions to leverage growth internationally. Mark has broad experience in assisting companies with their global workforce and overcoming their challenges.

Sinead is CFO of The Taxback Group and co-founder of Transfermate. Trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, Sinead has over 20 years’ experience in senior risk management roles within financial services.

Sinead is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, England and Wales and a member of the Institute of Directors Ireland. Furthermore, Sinead is listed as one of Ireland’s Top 100 Most Innovative and Influential CFO’s.

Chief Operating Officer

A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Christine is an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), an Associate of the Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) and has a Certificate in the Principles of International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).

Christine has over 19 years’ experience in Global Payroll, Taxation and Social Security. She trained in KPMG and worked for a number of years as a manager in the Global Employer Services (GES) department of Deloitte, specialising in Global Mobility tax and social security compliance and consultancy for multinational companies, before joining the Taxback Group in 2010.

As Chief Operating Officer Christine is responsible for the delivery of a first class service to our customers from onboarding to live running. Our quality of service and expertise in delivery, led by Christine and the fantastic team, has been the backbone that has allowed us grow to date and we will continue to invest in growing this expertise in the near and long term under Christine’s leadership.

Financial Controller

George is a Chartered Accountant, with more than 25 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Industry and Commercial Banking. George previously held senior corporate finance positions with PwC in Ireland and the US and with KPMG in Eastern Europe, where he advised companies on acquisitions and disposals; finance raising and corporate strategy. He ran his own consultancy for 10 years, where he provided corporate finance services to SMEs and start-up technology companies.

He has held FD and CFO positions across a number of sectors in Ireland and Slovakia.

George’s focus is on initiatives that increase value, and ensuring systems and process are in place to serve the business’ needs and allow Immedis to scale.

Chief Product Officer

Richard is responsible for the technical and product roadmap including platform and service components, which includes leading integration across global human capital management and finance technology partnerships. He leads a team of amazing and innovative HR and Payroll technology and operational experts towards world-class SaaS payroll solutions and services for Immedis clients.

Richard chose an eclectic path from an MSci Physics from Durham University, through management consulting and chartered accountancy, to leading Professional Services, Solutions and Innovation.  After almost 20 years driving HR and Payroll technology and services globally, this has led to the perfect role in Immedis.

Richard’s life outside technology revolves around family and fitness.

Dave Leboff

President, US Operations

Dave has over 35 years of experience in international human resources, international tax and expatriate program management.

He began his career in tax when working for the Internal Revenue Service followed by Arthur Young in NYC where he went on to receive his CPA and manage sizeable expatriate program engagements. Dave then moved to the client side and worked in international assignment and global human resources roles in several companies including PepsiCo, Bankers Trust, UBS and DoubleClick.

Dave went on to form Expaticore, which was then acquired by Immedis in May 2017.

Barry has significant experience in both employment taxes and compensation and benefits, working with a range of clients across multiple industries including technology, financial services and software.

He is a regular guest and speaker in the media at a national and international level, where is discusses subjects relating to the future of tax.

Barry is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Consultant (CTC) and Chartered Company Secretary (GradlCSA).

Michael Zachary

With over 15 years’ experience in HR and payroll operations, Michael oversees the operational efficiency, continuous improvement and ongoing service-related technology projects at Immedis.

Michael holds a BS in interpretation and translation services, an Associate’s degree in Computer Engineering, an FPC designation from the American Payroll Association and a CPHRC certification (Certified Professional in Human Resources and Compensation Management) from the Institute of Human Resources Management Education.

A graduate from University College Dubin, Aoife studied International Commerce with French before embarking on her career in Global Payroll

Martin is responsible for ensuring service excellence by setting up our client facing teams with clear processes, knowledge, technology, data and training. Martin and his team of global payroll experts are continuously on the lookout for improvement opportunities and work hand in hand with the Technological, Operations and Commercial departments to analyse, find solutions, implement and measure the effectiveness of solutions put in place.

Martin joined Immedis in November 2017 and was previously in the role of Global Head of Onboarding, resulting in detailed knowledge of our client’s expectations and the service that Immedis provides. Martin is a Computer Science graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing with Mobile Applications. He has been working in the HR Technology and Payroll Services Industry for 10+ years, and has a passion for delivering excellent service through technology to clients.

Dave joined Immedis following the successful sale of a technology service business in 2018.

In the early part of his career Dave was involved in software development, and he moved into Technology Management and Consulting in 2001.
He moved into a business leadership role when co-founding a service business in 2006 operating across Ireland and the UK.

Dave has helped to scale and grow teams of people, aligned product and service offerings to client needs, and delivered on P&L expectations.
He is excited to be a part of the Immedis team, breaking new ground with innovative Payroll Technology and helping to achieve the massive ambitions for the business.

Emma joined Immedis in 2016 with a strong background in expatriate and employment taxes. She oversees the tax compliance function at Immedis, and specialises in the management of tax compliance for globally mobile employees. She also has experience in advisory tax services for international companies with focus on employment tax, social security and other global mobility tax issues.

Emma is a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute and previously graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Business & Legal Studies.

Philip Hogan

Senior Manager, Global Tax & Payroll

Philip joined Immedis in November 2016. His team are responsible for the delivery of international payroll for our multi-national clients while ensuring their employees remain tax and social security compliant in each of the jurisdictions while on assignment. He also manages the international payments that are required to be made to employees and the relevant tax authorities.

He is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has several other qualifications including an Honours Degree in Structural and Civil Engineering, a Higher Diploma in Maths and Statistics, and a Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science.

Shawn is responsible for the service delivery of all global payrolls. This includes of ownership of timely and accurate payrolls, incorporating the use of standardized best practices and governance.

Shawn has over 13 years of domestic and international payroll experience. As a member of the Global Payroll Council, he actively participates in the sharing of best practices surrounding process optimization, vendor management and global payroll strategies.

Shawn studied Business at Argosy University, after attending the community college of Corning perusing a major in Liberal Arts/ Psychology.

Columb works with the CEO to ensure the company strategy is felt across the business. He oversees new projects from the ground up before they are handed over to the relevant departments and supports with the overall operational function of the company. He is also the data protection practitioner for Immedis.

Tanya Nikolova

Tanya supervises international payroll processing in collaboration with the internal and external payroll teams to ensure that the service is delivered on time and tax compliance is adhered to in every jurisdiction.

She joined Immedis in 2016 at a junior level with a degree in Finance and a Tax Technician Qualification with the Irish Tax Institute (ITI). She has since graduated as an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor and has ben promoted continuously throughout her time with Immedis.

Plamena assists and manages Immedis clients with a mobile workforce to provide global mobility solutions, domestic and international tax as well as social security compliance. She ensures each client is compliant with the domestic legislation in the countries which they operate in.

Having graduated from the University of Varna with a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Plamena continued her education and received her qualification as an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor with the Irish Tax Institute.

Maria manages the allocations of tax and payroll work among the service delivery team while reviewing complex cases. She manages a portfolio of global payroll clients and oversees the work of her service delivery team.

Maria holds two payroll certifications; a Payroll Technician Certificate and an advanced Payroll Technician Certificate with The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP). She also is a Taxation Technician with the Association of Taxation Technician (ATT).

Adrian has almost 10 years of experience in Business Development and Client relationship roles. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Adrian is currently Immedis’ Head of Business Development for EMEA and is responsible for client satisfaction and organic growth, new client acquisition, corporate marketing initiatives, and developing the relationship between Immedis and its clients.

Prior to his current role Adrian was an Associate Director with an International Executive Search firm where he supported major global asset managers and banks on Exclusive mandates at Director and Managing Director level across the US, Europe and APAC.

He has international experience as he also spent two years in New York managing the compliance and legal division for a major, global firm for their North American operations.

David joined Immedis from AdRoll, a leading AdTech company headquartered out of San Francisco where he worked in sales for over 5 years in Dublin, Tokyo and New York. David has led teams on a remote and in-house basis while additionally managing vendors in Manilla and Utah from a commercial perspective. David is a strong cultural sales leader previously holding positions in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada prior to Immedis.

David’s role as Commercial Director of the Americas involves leading Commercial Operations and supporting the immediate opportunities and long-term strategic growth of Immedis. David is also responsible for the US sales team overseeing all commercial developments through direct relationships and across our domestic partnership program.

David has over 29 years’ experience in both the Irish and US IT industry. Working at the cutting edge of IT, designing and building leading IT infrastructure solutions in blue chip organisations. He started his IT career as a developer and quickly moved into IT operational roles in multinational organisations such as Elan and Glanbia.

In 2000 David setup DNM and managed a team of professionals to deliver Business Analytics, Cloud and Managed Service solutions to customers across Ireland, Europe and North America. David was also the Chairman of the Irish Canada Business Association from 2011 to 2016 driving the business agenda across both countries.

In 2019 David joined Immedis as Chief Information Officer David overseeing and driving the use of technology in Immedis. Working with a great team David manages the physical and cloud infrastructure ensuring operational excellence, security and compliance while also driving the IT strategy to supporting the business growth.
